For Your Home

There are 24 hours in a day, and seven days in a week.  That makes 168 hours each week! We recognize that children probably only 168spend between 1 and 3 hours of that week with us.

It’s easy to figure out, the number one way for children to grow in a faith that will stay with them after they launch into the adult world, is to focus attention and resourcing the environments they spend most of their time.  That place is most often – your home and family.

We want to be a resource and encouragement to you as a parent and/or role-model for the children in your care.  Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, guardian, or simply play a parental role in the life of someone – we want to connect you with resources for one of the most important things you can do for the Kingdom of God.  This is not only helpful for creating a healthy local church body, it’s vital as we accept the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in Matthew chapter 28:16-20,

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We’ve created a short list of helpful resources for specific milestones of development as a young person grows with Christ.  Among these are helpful insights, articles, book recommendations, and videos.  If you ever find a link that no longer works, please let us know as these things can often be changed. (This area under construction!!  Come back SOON!!)

If you have any questions on how ANY of these materials/stages/moments can take shape in the unique situations of YOUR home, please don’t hesitate to contact us!!  Call the church office, and let us know how we can serve you and your family!
